Akash Gandhi, Esq.


Akash Gandhi is an Associate Attorney in the international trade law firm of Page•Fura, P.C. Mr. Gandhi joined Page•Fura in 2017, having previously worked as a compliance professional in a large multinational corporation.

Mr. Gandhi brings extensive experience in customs law and global trade compliance to his position, having advised on matters related to the full spectrum of international trade including confirming the appropriate classification applicable to imported goods, establishing the proper and full basis of appraisement and providing representation in government-initiated audits and investigations. In addition, Mr. Gandhi also supports clients in navigating licensing requirements, preparing and prosecuting disclosures and strategizing on how best to interface with government representatives in both formal and informal submissions/communications. Mr. Gandhi also counsels clients on their trade compliance programs – both import and export – as well as their supply chain security schemes including, but not limited to the U.S. Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) and the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program.

Mr. Gandhi obtained his Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School in 2014 with particular emphasis in International Trade Law with an undergraduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.S. in Finance and Marketing. Mr. Gandhi is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and is certified in Harmonized Tariff Schedule Classifications and Duty Drawback.

Mr. Gandhi is also fluent in Hindi, Guajarati and Urdu.
